Heather Alexander is an agent at Pippin Properties, working with artists and authors of picture books, middle grade, young adult, and graphic novels. She looks for work that will stand the test of time and tell brand new stories in fresh and interesting ways. Some of her clients include Alison McGhee, Kate McMullan, Darren Farrell, and Andrew Harwell. When not reading, Heather likes to make all kinds of things.

Andrew Harwell is a Senior Editor at HarperCollins Children’s Books, focusing on middle grade and young adult fiction. He especially loves books that push normative boundaries to reach readers who feel like they exist outside them. At Harper, Andrew has the privilege of working with such authors as Dan Gutman, Noelle Stevenson, Madeleine Roux, Zac Brewer, Adam Silvera, and more. A graduate of the University of Chicago, Andrew is a piano player, a gamer, and a film fanatic.

Abby Ranger is a senior editor at HarperCollins Children’s Books. She acquires middle grade and young adult novels, and select picture books. Her twelve-year career in publishing includes previous editorial posts at Scholastic and Disney-Hyperion. Abby is proud to work with acclaimed and bestselling authors such as Cinda Williams Chima, Amie Kaufman, Linda Sue Park, and Obert Skye, among others. Her latest project, forthcoming in October 2016, is an outrageously funny middle grade novel starring an unusual class pet, Hamstersaurus Rex, by Tom O’Donnell, illustrated by Tim Miller.

Kate Sullivan is a Senior Editor at Delacorte Press, an imprint of Random House, where she works on middle grade and young adult content. Previously, she was at Little, Brown, where she edited many bestselling and award winning authors, including Malinda Lo, Darren Shan, Kody Keplinger, Gail Carriger, Carrie Ryan, and Margaret Stohl. She’s a sucker for speculative fiction, humorous realistic, animal books, and anything that gives voice to marginalized perspectives or people who can’t speak for themselves. Kate grew up in Belgium and enjoys making dioramas.
